We are excited to be getting back to indoor dining at Credit Valley!

I am thrilled that we have been able to sell out the restaurant on most nights and kept a booming take-out business thriving.

As indoor dining opened this past weekend, the combination of increased capacity and your dedication to our take-out service has presented us with a great problem to solve. Our services in the Valley Grill and wait times for food between 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm are suffering because we are managing a large volume of take-out orders at the same time as in-person dining. Unlike a dining room order with paced appetizers and main courses, we must put take-out orders together all at once. As a result, this puts abnormal pressure on the entire kitchen team while trying to manage a nice flow of dining room guests at the same time.

Don’t get me wrong, building a take-out business has been very important to us, and I consider our current responsiveness to this program a monumental success. However, beginning today, Tuesday, July 20, 2021, we can no longer facilitate take-out orders from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm.

We plan to return to the take-out program in full swing mid-September as a chill freshens the air, but as it stands now, we are destined to disappoint you in the dining room this summer if we continue at this pace. After over a year of waiting to dine with us in the Valley Grill, that is the last thing we want.

There will be quiet days where we may accommodate a take-out order. As always, we will try our best, but please keep in mind we made this decision with the best of intentions to make your dining experience at CV the best it can be.

We are launching a refresh of the Valley Grill Menu today, having added an entire pasta section, with new and old fav’s, and a few new fantastic items as we turn into the heat of the summer. So with these new additions and your continued support, we look forward to many more sold-out nights and great memories made. I appreciate your understanding and have a great summer,

    Thank you for this insightful memo. The postponement of take out until September is more than understandable. Thank you for your frank honesty in explaining it to us!

    Your resiliency through the tough lockdowns we’ve experienced in Peel Region has been commendable and your ability to provide an excellent range of take out and pantry options through the last year demonstrates your creativity and skill!

    I’m sure the membership is thrilled to be dining both back on patios and indoors – albeit a limited way but regardless, we all look forward to you new menus and agree with the focus on in person dining fir the balance of the summer!
